That vision has stood the test of time and the clubs continue to flourish to this day, with David Lloyd becoming a household name in the leisure industry.

“My tennis career and the success of David Lloyd Leisure enabled me to travel the world. I have always had a passion for property and have been lucky enough to invest in and develop some amazing property in some wonderful locations.

“My vision today is to combine luxury property, travel and leisure with, above all, trust and transparency. Over the past few years, overseas property has been fraught with risk with unscrupulous agents and developers treating buyers with contempt.
